Pudgy Penguins Launches Exclusive Influencer Box on Walmart.com for Cyber Monday

Pudgy Penguins, the NFT collection that has defied the odds and experienced growth in both value and popularity during the bear market, has taken another step towards mainstream success. The brand has recently introduced a line of toys targeted at a wider audience, and now, they have released an exclusive influencer box of toys and collectibles available only on Walmart.com for Cyber Monday. This limited edition Pudgy Penguins White Celebrity Box includes a 12-inch plush toy, an action figure, a smaller clip-on plush, an igloo toy, and a certificate that allows buyers to claim a free NFT minted on zkSync Era for the Pudgy World gaming platform.

The influencer box bundle, as Pudgy Penguins referred to it on Twitter, is priced at $25 for Cyber Monday only, which is listed as half off the original list price. This discounted price may reflect the combined value of the items included in the bundle. For example, the 12-inch plush toys typically sell for $20 to $25 each when purchased separately.

Pudgy Penguins first introduced its plush toy line in September through a partnership with Walmart. The cartoonish toys were made available in over 2,000 Walmart stores across the United States. In a press release, Walmart U.S. VP Brittany Smith described the collaboration as a way to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds of play for children in an engaging manner.

Since then, the Pudgy Penguins project has gained significant attention and expanded its profile. With a following of over a million Instagram followers, the project has successfully launched toy lines and other products. Earlier this year, Pudgy Penguins secured $9 million in funding to support its expansion plans.
